Long ago, in the Southern elf kingdom, lived a young elf named Arodir, but everyone called him Aaron. Ever since he was born his parents, the king and queen, were planning on who their some should marry. They soon found a beautiful princess from a far kingdom in the north. She was tall, thin, well mannered, and very sophisticated. Aaron's parent's loved hearing about this young lady and thought their son would too. While his parents were away, he went out in search of a bride himself. He found a commoner's girl in the village square. She was tall, beautiful, kind, and very polite. she was from the village in the North she called herself Nina. While she was volunteering at the local orphanage, he decided to finally talk to her. While the children took their nap the decided to get acquainted. Nina told Aaron about her family and how popular they were in the North and South kingdoms. She wanted to get away from all the attention so she dressed as a commoner to avoid it. Aaron could relate to this, he also dressed as a commoner to avoid attention. After her day was over, Aaron and Nina walked around the village looking at all the wonderful stores and visited the wonderful people in the village. Before midnight, Nina had left for home. Aaron ran home to tell his parents about this beautiful creature he had met that morning. When they heard of his plan to marry her, his parents were shocked. They told him that he was going to marry the princess of the North Kingdom, Princess Nindes. They said they haven’t met her yet because she was away for the day, but they heard she was a lovely young lady. Aaron, who followed his parents' decisions, sulked in his room and worried that he wasn't going to enjoy being with the princess as he did with Nina. Although overcome by his worries, he trusted his parents and their decision for him to marry the princess. That Saturday, Nina and Aaron spent the whole day together. During lunch at their new favorite restaurant, Aaron told Nina, “I am to marry Princess Nindes of the North Kingdom, but I am afraid I won’t enjoy being with her as much as I do with you.” Nina started to giggle at his statement but Aaron didn't notice. As the day went on, they decided to go to the river and take a swim. After their swim, it was almost time for Nina to leave for home so they walked to the walls of the kingdom. Aaron wanted to stay with her longer because the wedding was Monday afternoon. Neither of them said anything to each other until Monday morning. Aaron had to get ready for his wedding so they both went separate ways. Nina walked away cheerfully not at all worried about Aarons wedding. When the wedding began, the princess slowly walked to the alter, her veil hiding her face. When the reverend said, “You may now kiss the bride,” Aaron slowly lifted the veil. A look of shock came to his face.
